This Privacy Policy explains how Naravid ("Naravid", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at naravid.com and our application at app.naravid.com (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Naravid is an AI tool that turns a written story or topic into a narrated animated video. The Service is operated by the founder of Naravid. For any privacy question, contact us at tambongsterling@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and password hash (or Google sign-in identifier) when you create an account.
• Content you provide — the stories, topics, prompts, character descriptions, and settings you submit to generate videos, and the images, audio, captions, and videos generated from them.
• Billing information — handled by our payment processor, Paddle. We receive transaction metadata (plan, amount, status) but never see or store your full card details.
• YouTube account data — only if you connect a channel (see Section 5).
• Usage data — log data, device/browser information, and how you interact with the Service, used to operate and improve it.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the core Service: generate, store, and deliver your videos and assets.
• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To process payments and manage your credit balance.
• To respond to support requests and send transactional emails (e.g. email verification).
• To monitor, debug, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private content to train our own models.

4. Third-party services (sub-processors)

To run the Service we share the minimum necessary data with trusted providers:

• Google Cloud / Vertex AI (Gemini) — generates scene images and narration audio.
• Anthropic / AWS Bedrock (Claude) — analyses your script into scenes.
• Groq — aligns narration to caption timings.
• Amazon Web Services (S3) — stores generated media.
• Paddle — our merchant of record; processes all payments.
• Resend — delivers verification and account emails.
• Google / YouTube — when you connect a channel (see below).

5. YouTube data and Google API Services

If you choose to connect a YouTube channel, Naravid uses YouTube API Services. By using that feature you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and your use of Google data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

With your explicit consent (via Google's OAuth screen), we access:

• Your channel and video metadata — to show your channel and upload status inside Naravid.
• Upload access — to publish a video you create to your channel at your request.
• Caption upload — to attach the generated caption track to your uploaded video.
• Basic analytics — views and watch-time, shown on your Naravid dashboard.

We store an encrypted authorization token so we can perform these actions on your behalf. We use this data only to provide the features you request and never sell it or use it for advertising. You can revoke Naravid's access at any time from your Google Account's security settings page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) or the Google security settings. When you disconnect a channel in Naravid, we delete the stored token. Naravid's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data retention

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your content at any time, and you can request deletion of your account by emailing us; we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain billing records to meet legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact tambongsterling@gmail.com.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your active workspace and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encrypt sensitive tokens at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will notify you.
